Research Promotion Chair shall be the Chair of the Research Promotion Committee.

The primary goals of the research promotion committee are to promote the research activities of the Society by conducting an annual campaign to obtain investments in ASHRAE research and encouraging original and independent research by the Members in the sciences of HVAC. The chair shall attend the annual special regional committee meeting organized by the Research Promotion RVC or CRC meeting.

Research promotion chair duties are as follows:

A. Attend monthly BOG meetings.

B. Attend the annual special regional committee meeting organized by the Research Promotion RVC, held in the summer.

C. Encourage Full Circle by the Chapter. This is a $100 contribution due by Dec 15th by the Chapter’s Officers which includes the President, President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, & Research Promotion Chair.

D. Promote Society Research donations at the research-themed chapter meeting, often held in the spring.

D. Recognize Company Honors for research donations, including Golden Circle investors.
