Project Architect for Facilities, functions as a Design Architect and
Project Manager as part of a team of Architects, Engineers, technicians
and tradesmen. We perform design, construction, operations and maintenance
for renovations of small to large office buildings, both commercial and
government. Experience in converting customer requirements into complete
construction documents including conceptual designs, final designs, specifications
and cost estimates is needed. Plans, manages and executes projects, which
may involve external A&Es, vendors, or construction contractors in
accordance with construction documents as well as applicable regulations,
standards and codes. A&E firm experience is a plus. AutoCAD experience
is preferred. Professional Architecture license in Virginia or ability
to obtain. Provides support, as required, to secure permits. Contribute
to initiative to improve facilities to satisfying LEED-EB certification.
Perform studies and provide recommendations to customers on recapitalization
projects. Researches technologies related to facilities, shares learning
with others and trains personnel regarding operation and maintenance of
assets. Develops and updates design standards and site-specific operating
procedures in order to establish common practices. Position reports to
the Engineering Manager.
Education Requirements:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's
and typically 9 or more years' experience, Master's with typically 7 or
more years' experience or PhD with typically 4 or more years' experience.
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course
of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject
to a background investigation and polygraph, and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of
the specific projects and positions, U.S. citizenship is required for
all candidates and their immediate families. Must have the ability to
obtain clearance.

Project Manager
Our client is a global company providing temperature measurement and
control technologies. We are currently seeking a Project Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verifies scope of work definition for assigned projects and ensures
that the executed contract documents mesh with what was portrayed in
the commercial quotation
Plans, organizes and directs all design engineering, procurement,
system installation and commissioning activities for assigned projects
Responsible for profitability on assigned projects. Manages revenue,
costs and gross margin against the cost estimate.
Monitors the project financial status and successfully controls all
project costs during execution tmaintain projected profit margins
Coordinates the thorough compilation of project controls data including,
but not limited t, cost forecasting, scheduling and manpower progress
Establishes the key interface between the customer and our company
and manages this relationship relative tscope, price, schedule and overall
performance. Alscaptures scope change and effectively communicates this

Oversees the accuracy and timely submission of invoicing for projects
